Team Scallywags had a pretty damned good weekend I'll leave the others to tell you all about their fantastic results, but here are mine. Friday was a very good day. 4 runs. 4 clears. 2nd and 4th in agilty, 2nd in jumping and UPC in jumping. Can't ask more of Bella than that I think she was a little tired... Saturday was another mostly good day, although it started off with one knackered knee, one scratched class, then one E, one 10 faults, and a win in jumping graded 1-4 . Our first ever KC win. Good girl Bella Tired girl again... Sunday we just had one UPC in jumping, 15 faults in comb 1-3 agility, an E in graded agility 1-4, but I was quite chuffed with just the 5 faults for missing the weave entry in combined 1-7 jumping. Dog tired... Monday we were entered for 4 classes, but pretty much decided early on that we would only do the 2 graded classes as we were both knackered and wanted to leave early. I got us eliminated from jumping by taking the wrong course and doing a classic 'rabbit in the headlights' look BUT, Bella only went and won out of Grade 1 with a clear round in agility. I love this girl Hope everyone got home OK. Just started to rain as I neared home and then there was a tremendous thunderstorm

Not a bad weekend for Spudge - 4th and 3rd in agility, a 2nd in jumping and 4 other clear rounds - just submitted the claim form for her Gold warrant! Bit of a quiet spell now til middle of May - people will insist on getting married and having a party, sadly nowhere near agility shows. Most inconsiderate

Should also add that the Scallywags A Team (Jeff, Murphy, Jo, Dave and Sally) also turned in an impressive (though not flawless) performance in the Friday night quiz, winning with 34/40. More Dingbats/Catchphrase practice needed for next year though team! (if you have to ask, you should've been there!)
No, I am not competitive. At all. Really.

Miage and I have had a really good start to the season. Despite the rain and dreadful conditions in Somerset a couple of weeks ago we managed our first jumping win in G4 We then unbelievably did the same again the following weekend at Shuttleworth. This weekend at Adams Miage decided that her courses were far more fun and interesting than the ones set by the judge We did manage a 15th in g 1-7 jumping and a 6th in Grade 4-5 jumping. Best of all Mees was on her best behaviour on Sunday as we had entered the knockout pairs with Jeff and Buzz. It was such fun and very exciting and I'm delighted to say we came first and have qualified for the final in August :)A big thankyou to Jeff and Buzz for entering with us. Well done to all Scallywaggers wherever they were competing. There have been some really good results and the season has only just begun

We had a good week end three jumping wins two G6 and one G6-7 we had a 5th and 6th in agility. That was after Buzz tried to do some thing on the dog walk that looked like a front flip not once but twice. I dont know how he managed not to seriously hurt himself. The Pairs win was awesome. We were behind in the semi final untill the last jump when Miage put on the turbo. Thanks Belinda and mees. Also Baggie looked his old self with a clear.

Here's my penny's worth, Oli and I had 3 x 2nd places and a 6th and 7th place across the weekend so am quite pleased we are getting a little more consistent which is my goal for this year and when you are competing against at least 200 dogs in every grade 3 class it's pretty good going! Fudge is making his bid for an agility comeback (not) with three clears in the any size this weekend too. Considering the horrible time he has had battling with epilepsy this year It made us very happy indeed. I must also agree that watching Jeff and Belinda win the pairs knockout was brilliant, think I might be banned from the touch line next time tho!! A great weekend!!

Hi I was only able to go up for the day on Sunday Lovely venue & great atmosphere. Had 3 really great runs with Tian, 2 agility runs where unfortunately Tian found the end of the dog walk too hot to touch with her paws !! just the 5 flts in each. In the 1 - 7 jumping if only I'd not dropped my arm too quickly we would have had a stonking clear......another 5 flts. Little Liz at 13 had a lovely run in the Veterans - sadly her handler moved too soon & cost her a clear..... it was that sort of a day!! Congratulations to fellow Scallywaggers who were really on form, some great wins & places - Looking forward to cheering Belinda & Jeff on in the final in August
