Well our action plan this weekend was 'death or glory' and after 4 X E's yesterday with one awesome weave entry I must admit, I did begin to doubt this latest plan!! As I do like a rosette!! And today began only slightly better with unplaced 2nd in gamblers but non qualifying, unplaced 4th in novice agility with 5f, this plan was not looking good but we managed to pull out a 2nd in champ Steeple and a 1st in jumping!! Loving the glory moments after all!! Great to see Angela Jackie and Jane also doing well and loved the fact we all did so well on the same agility course!! X right back to the olympics if only dog agility was in it!! X

Not a great weekend for Dexter and I. Really struggling with the starting again. Tried a few different things with differing success. Definitely ruled out touching his collar to start after we took out first obstacle! Saturday saw faults in all 3 runs and a deflated feeling. Team talks from Sandie, Jackie and Jane gave me more confidence today. Day 2 saw E'd from an otherwise nice jumping run, after my body pointed to the wrong jump. 5 faults in steeplechase and not enough points in games -Dex took a time out in the middle of the see saw! Shaky start in agility picked us up 10 faults before we even got going and we wiped out the spread jump to finish. Really enjoyed the other 18 obstacles though and how he ran them. It earnt us a NQ 1st so at least we took something away from the weekend.

We had a successful day a TeeJay today, 4 good steady runs, no E's , only a 5F on the dogwalk in the novice agility to win the midi height , didn't think I could get him around it, but I did , 3rd and a 1st in senior steeplechase, 3rd in Jumping, Now I just need to do the same at our KC show coming up later in the month
