Hi, How in the world do I install Windows 7 on a computer with USB 3.0 ports? Specifically the Acer ATC-711-EB51 desktop. I spent the whole afternoon yesterday and today trying various methods and I still can't get it working properly. I've followed various guides and none. I even went as far as using the internal DVD drive and while Windows 7 finally installed, Windows 7 won't recognize any USBs because they don't have the USB 3.0 drivers installed. I've tried plugging the USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 flash drive into the USB 2.0 ports as well but still no go. I know it's not a storage driver issue because it can find my SSD and HDD no problems when I install Windows 7 via the internal DVD drive. Any idea? Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet. References forums.anandtech.com/threads/how-to-install-windows-7-on-usb-3-0-computer.2495764/animated graphic
