Hi, I am using a 2GB iMac Intel Core 2 Duo with wireless mouse and keyboard and OS 10.4.10. I downloaded the trial version of Parallels Desktop 3.0 (build 4560). I have a brand new full version of Windows XP Home SP2 (never installed anywhere). When I run Parallels Desktop and insert the Windows CD as per screen instructions, I see "Windows Setup" on the screen and the program spends a couple of minutes loading files from the CD, then it flashes several lines of text on the screen too quickly to read, then it changes to a screen that says Windows XP is suspended and shows the configuration. I suspect that the info that was momentarily displayed indicated that there was an error, but there doesn't seem to be any way to capture that info, so I can't really tell you what the problem is. If I press the green Start button, the screen shows what looks like a DOS display, a couple of lines with memory numbers and a third line with the text "Boot from hard drive...". It didn't look like it was doing anything (that is, nothing changed in the parallels window) and I left it like that for over 3 hours, and nothing happened. Any suggestions? Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet. References forum.parallels.com/threads/problem-with-installation-of-windows-xp.15324/2d animation company
