Hi,
My laptop was recently acting strange. Everytime I started it, it would start up and about 10 seconds later, the Blue Screen of Death appeared. I looked through the errors it was page fault in non-paged area and tried several different solutions (restoring didn't work, removing recently installed items -nothing). The computer worked in safe mode fine but I couldn't install anything that was recommended because I could only get to safe mode. Changed all of my MSCONFIG startups as well. So I went in under F8 and restored the computer to it's factory image. Now, it starts up and says Windows is starting. A blue screen flashes ever so quickly (just a real quick flash of it). It then says, "Windows Failed to start, Launch Startup Repair or run Windows normally" . The 2nd option puts me right back at the same screen and the first option gives me all sorts of options that won't work (diagnostics, restore - which can't be done and others) Windows can't find what is wrong when it searches for a solution.
Any idea?
