Hi, I have a hp dv6700se laptop that I'm trying to connect to my 24" Dell LCD monitor through DVI. For some reason it goes into Power Saving Mode when connecting it to the DVI port. First bought the VGA to DVI adapter (using VGA Cable) and then went ahead and bought the VGA to DVI (using DVI Cable). Both give me the same problems. I downloaded all the drivers for my video card from intel and that hasn't fixed the problem either. The video card is an Mobile Intel Express 965 chipset Any ideas? Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet. References www.techspot.com/community/topics/lcd-monitor-issues-vga-to-dvi-adapter-not-working.145663/animated business explainer video
