I just wanted to know if anyone can give me a solution in how to solve a power issue problem with a Compaq Presario CQ61 laptop. Apparently the laptop does not power on at all with the battery. It still does not power on with the AC adapter, but I get the LED light which lights up when the adapter is connected to the laptop. Can the problem lie with the motherboard. I have taken apart the laptop to bare minimum. It still does not seem to power up at all. Can the result of this problem be due to a: - Faulty Fan connected on the motherboard - Faulty DC socket - Faulty GPU chip on the motherboard If anyone can shed some light to this post then I really appreciate it. Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet. References community.spiceworks.com/topic/156859-compaq-presario-cq61-power-problemssales explainer animation
