Quick update - stitches out, onesie applied to stop her licking the wound! Walking very well, and after physio check yesterday can now trot half a dozen steps before switching to 3-legged mode. Good progress! Hydrotherapy next week, re-xray on 16th June. Many thanks for all supporting messages :-)

Update - follow-up xrays today show the bone is healing perfectly satisfactorily - of course! We have begun hydrotherapy (treadmill) and are up to 45 mins walking at a stretch (so I should be getting fitter again!) Advice is another 3-4 weeks building up on-lead walking before starting to allow some off-lead exercise. She should be good for full off-lead exercise in 8 weeks - only 6 months leadwalking! I hope to start agility training again in October - might do something at Rugby Christmas if all goes well! Currently snoozing off the after-effects of the sedation - her, not me! PS And she had her second measure at Godmanchester - safely medium

Little Black Dog is a couple of weeks into some off-lead exercise - she is very very happy! Process has been slightly accelerated by my getting a bit of a knock and not being able to do much leadwalking. Have just about found a happy medium of how much she can do without getting muscle soreness - hot weather helps to slow her down a smidge!
